A Start

It turns out there was a miscommunication about the distance between the two rows of cross pieces — the ones on the top row were two inches too high.

So the guys had to spend the first half of yesterday lowering the left half of the top row. Then they started installing the frames and heating panels:

Peter will be up there today to work on the plumbing, but the rest of the crew won’t get back to the installing until tomorrow.

    Blue sky smilin’ at me.
Nothing but blue skies do I see. etc

That is what struck me too. The sky is incredible. Must be crisp and fresh up there.

    noted the blue sky 🙂

but also noted yet it seems again a tape measuring tape diabolical – maybe they should all buy the same branded tape!

It wasn’t the tape measure. Andy said he wanted the crosspieces 50 inches apart, center-to-center. Matt thought he meant the closest edges were 50 inches apart. The mistake they found today will take longer to fix. (See next post.)
