No doubt about it, winter can be spectacular here in the Southwest.
In other places when it rains it’s gloomy all day. Not here. When it rains the sun is quickly bright afterwards.
We do get some gloomy days, but not nearly as much as when we were in Ithaca, where the sun came out about six days all winter. Winter starting the end of October and going until the end of May.

Spectacular indeed. I love the sight of trees with snow delicately balanced on all the branches. But I wish the snow would stick to the trees and not take a fancy to my car windscreen!

I agree with the bright and crisp – which is what I see, but I know I would be be darn cold if I was there…your heater would be working overtime for me 🙂
