Conducting

Do you think this child is acting spontaneously? Mimicking someone? Or?

He has obviously been seeing either a film or a live performance of an orchestra with a conductor. I think that he is simply being spontaneous and instead of dancing has decided to do what he has seen a conductor do. It is cute.

My interpretation is that the child is mimicking the soloist in the beginning, then when the entire choir begins to sing the child begins mimicking the choir director. One thing for sure, he or she is certainly putting their all into it! 🙂

He’s not conducting in the beginning, then is. But he’s not looking at the choir director (you can briefly see her/him in the lower right corner at one point) , and yet the child’s motions are appropriate at the very end. It’s intriguing, and the child is clearly talented.

i would at first think mimicking…
but then … at the beginning it seems he or is it she? … thought she’s wearing a dress …
anyway i think she seems to actually be ‘feeling’ the music! she touches her heart!
    whichever…
    delightful.

I thought about mimicking too but thought it not possible with turning her/his head in different directions & the HEART FELT expressions. Notice he/she points to the heavens at one point.– religious

I also noticed the head turning, which is why it’s so intriguing. I also liked the part where he/she pointed to the heavens. It looked like fun, I might try it too!
