Comfortable and/or happy? It’s been an interesting week. I’ve spent a lot of time under the house rewiring outlets – not comfortable. Our precipitation continues to be excessive, with over an inch on both Monday and Tuesday last week; then 3.5 inches on Thursday in a half hour capped with a lightning strike that caused us to lose power and “fried” our DSL modem with visible sparking — it was about 1.5 feet or so in front of me. The excessive rain scoured crush stone out of our driveway that had been there for over 30 years. We also lost a couple of old electronic entertainment devices, but we had “spares” we were no longer using, so we didn’t need to replace them.
Wow! That lightning strike must have been scary. I’m sorry about the excessive rain and problems, but I’m glad no one was hurt.
The answer is yes, very, thank you to both.
I hope you’re not squashing any flowers like Sammy is!
I’m uncomfortable getting clean-out done–Lydia & daughter will be here in a wk–but happy seeing the results.
At least the cleaning out is worthwhile. Have fun with Lydia and daughter.
Sammy sure looks comfy! I’ve been letting stress get to me… so I haven’t been as relaxed as Sammy, that’s for sure!

Kaitlin says she trimmed the green bush so the flowers (the ones Sammy is lying on) could get more light. He obviously thought she did it for him. Poor flowers!
