Poor Raven

No new packrats yesterday, but a raven flew overhead and squawked at Andy. Do you think there was any connection?

Andy did say the first two days he put the rats out they stayed there. Then he saw a raven in a tree and whistled at it and pointed to the rats. The rats disappeared soon after that. Can you blame the raven for feeling disappointed?

Among the most intelligent birds on the planet. Tell Andy not to be surprised if he keeps this regiment up that at some point the Ravens will begin to fly to your house, tap on the windows or doors and lead Andy to where some rats are hiding… and I am quite serious!

They want to be treated with fresh rats every day now!

I adore the large black birds such as Ravens and Crows. Highly intelligent.
We also have big Magpies. I get a lot of enjoyment watching the familial interactions with each other. And, they’ve become quite close to me and will take food from my hand. The young female will come to the kitchen window, “warble” her song and call to me as she taps on the glass with her beak.

Birds are a true wonder 🙂

Tom is a News Hound. First thing in the morning we turn on TV to hear the world disasters & hear those & added ones on the evening news.

This blog is great! Nice to switch to –How does the raven feel? 🙂
