Andy and Orlando (hopefully) finished the roadwork for this year.
And early in the morning Andy saw two deer on the road looking at him.
All in all a great day. 🙂

Done For the Year?

And to think that only yesterday I was asking if it will ever get over!
It’s not over by a long shot. Just for this year, with any luck.
I suppose you’ll be putting a “deer crossing” sign there? Haha. I hope it is done for now!
Hopefully the only roadwork remaining for 2014 will be some snowplowing.

that’s such a precarious place that orlando is in! first half over then all wheels off the ground! even with the legs in place… or whatever they are. they look like great metal legs. it actually looks quite like some giant transformer style insect!
i’m sorry. it’s truly amazing what they’re doing.
but i can’t also help think with a smile . . .

I love the deer too! And I’m sure Andy knows the saying, “You can tell the men from the boys by the size of their toys.” That’s one big toy!
