Winning Isn’t Everything II

A stray dog, later named Arthur, joined an extreme-sports-team vying for a world’s championship when the team leader gave the dog a meatball. It was a strenuous trip, but Arthur did his darndest to keep up. When the team started the kayaking part of the trip they were told to leave Arthur behind because he could be a danger to them and to himself. They started to, but when they took off he jumped into the water and desperately tried to follow them. So they pulled him into a boat and let him come along. He no doubt slowed them down, but as we’ve said before, winning isn’t everything.

After the trip the team leader adopted Arthur and took him to his new home in Sweden.

Yay, Arthur! Yay, team!
