Weather Forecast

Kaitlin and Torben will be here for a few days. We’ll pick them up at the Albuquerque airport today and take them back Wednesday.

If the forecasters are correct, this is the weather they’re leaving:

And this is the weather they’ll see here:

Except for the first day, the weather looks slightly better here. We are hoping they will get the sunshine, but we’ll have a good time whatever happens. 🙂

It is always nice to have children visit as I see happen with my siblings and friends. I happen to live with them and so my joy is permanent! Occasionally of course their concern can be quite disconcerting.

We are having a colder than usual winter here and it is very enjoyable for those who can afford warm clothing. There are reports of some homeless being affected and as usual, some NGOs are collecting warm clothes for them. I personally am enjoying the season.

‘Tis the season to be jolly’ so we’ll do that. The sunshine here even when very cold is what makes it wonderful. January is our less-sun month & then February is back to nice & sunny.

    we awoke to SNOW!
and it’s still snowing ever so lightly. it’s just beautiful.
it was warm here yesterday before the arctic front blew in.
so the streets are remaining fairly clear for driving. but it’s white everywhere else.
i’m so glad kaitlin and torben are there. but . . . no grandoggies. you’ll miss them!

Yay, snow for you! Yay, tammy! We want as much sun as possible while K and T are here. They don’t get much in winter, and even when they get some it’s not nearly as strong and magical as it is here.

Can I switch weather forecasts with you? I wish I could. Have a wonderful time with Kaitlin and Torben!

excellent weather here, hot and sunny – not too much humidity as of yet…great for our outdoor Xmas lunch the other day 🙂

That reminds me: have Christmas with family instead of with a friend…

Well it was certainly different, mainly to do with more people under my radar. I am related to all of them in different ways. All together 4 families but 3 of the families – single people represented. The 4th family also a little split, DH has abandoned their ship and now there is only wife and the 2 shared children (their Dad gone away with his new partner)… All females except for the younger male at the princely year of 12! The oldest 88, my elderly sister.

Everyone had a dedicated sleeping space except for the lad, he slept in his Mothers room that night…

I didn’t know what their traditional Xmas Day plans were but that is where they were so different to my usual 25th day, not anything wrong with it just different… not sure what I might do in 2015 but I have a fair few months to decide 🙂
