Bumps in the Road

Life is too short to dwell on every bump in the road. Try to take pleasure in the simple things.

Wise words! Frasier said them at the end of his radio show and added,

In short, eat a cookie.

As soon as he was off the air, he started to do just that. But then,

Ow! Oh! Walnut. I broke a tooth.

He gets up and rushes out.

Darn. Now I have to go to the dentist. They’ll say I haven’t flossed. My lips will get fat. My life sucks!

Well, yes, that happens too. Life and we humans are seldom perfect.

of course it depends what the bump is and whether just one cookie will make it better OR will you need a dozen more cookies…maybe a 2 litre pack of Tip Top icecream, 1/2 dozen jam donuts, and a heap of chips (french fries if you’ve confused on NZ language)…
