Spring?

I received an email from Kaitlin today with the header I guess it is spring … She included these pictures.

Sammy doesn’t look exactly overjoyed in the picture, but I’m glad the weather was nice enough for them to enjoy their backyard. (These pictures, plus a few more, can be found on Montana’s blog.)

The story was different up in the mountains —- Andy says they had
about 3 or 4 inches of new snow, and he saw two traffic accidents on the way up because of the slipping and sliding. By the time he left the snow had mostly melted. He did build a fire in the woodstove to warm up the house after so many cloudy days.

It’s been cool and rainy down here the past couple of days — great sleeping weather, but it’s supposed to be sunny and warm up to the 60’s starting today.

What’s it like where you are?

oh those darling dogs! they don’t enjoy dressing up apparently! LOL.
sammy is usually laughing. maybe flower leis make him serious.
after a wicked night of severe storms and tornadoes … today is going to be hot and sunny… 85 degrees.
i’m going to papito’s 7th birthday party this afternoon! a good time will be had by all.
max and malachai and izzy and buddy and other furry guests will be there.
    i’ll be in doggy heaven!

Montana says she was disappointed because the leis didn’t mean they were going to Hawaii. Poor Sammy stoically endures having to dress up.

The party sounds like fun. Please post about it!

    Omg, they look so sweet!
That email had to leave you smiling!
It was in the 80’s here today. I had the whole day off! but unfortunately I’m feeling ill.
The rest of the week is supposed to drop down to the 60’s,
    Good sleeping weather!

    nothing spring-like here,weather or human-wise 🙂

now mid-evening & i can here wind; day time as been mostly lifeless – weak sun, dank feeling, lite rain. i definitely got involved with that rain as i hurried as best as possible from getting more attn over arm-cast!

had to change out what are best-@-moment day duds into not so dazzling PJ’s; keeping me warm was best case sceniro; etc. and trying to keep myself entertained as skin reaction not great… not easy to keep one’s mind off it all!

Good luck on the arm. My itching from the shingles is getting better but is still there. Yours must be a lot worse! I agree, trying to keep ourselves entertained and our mind off of it is the best way to go. Again, good luck and thanks for keeping us updated.

I was up at Delhi the last five days with maximum temperatures around 43 deg C and minimum around 27. I either sat in an air conditioned car or home and slept in air conditioned comfort. I normally would not have gone at this time but I had to for some personal reasons. I am back at home since morning with maximum at 36 deg C!
