The quality of our lives depends on how we focus our energy and our attention.

Words are cheap — Ellington is telling us how he put the idea into practice.

I thought of him the other day when I was rereading Steal Like an Artist. In it Austin Kleon says

I hadn’t come across this and I simply love it. It is just like his music!

I need to reread “Steal like an Artist” again
and also his book “Show your Work”.
His words are fading from my memory, I need a refresher!

They are such fun reads — and energizing/motivating. How about writing a post about them? I would love to read it.
