The New Bark

Kaitlin, Torben, Sammy and Montana arrived Monday evening and will leave Sunday morning. Montana hasn’t written about the trip yet, but she does discuss Sammy’s new bark in her latest post, The Emperor’s New Bark.

She shows us the bark in this video filmed before they left home:

Yes, his bark is a lot quieter, but he’s still sweet and fun to have around. We’re grateful he’s still here.

I’ve subscribed to Montana’s blog through my Firefox bookmarks and check it on my bookmarks toolbar almost every day. I can send you a link to it when a new one appears if that would help. Just in case Montana can’t let you subscribe by email.

I don’t think it hurts for Sammy to bark now that the surgery has healed. He does have trouble when he drinks sometimes, he has to make sure the water doesn’t go down into his lungs. He’s slower now because of age, but he still seems to be content enough.
