Too Good Not to Share

The subject of being poor came up on another blog, and it reminds me of this video by John Oliver. He does a great job of pointing out minor municipal violations can be a nuisance to people with money, but they can ruin the lives of people who are too poor to pay. I wanted to share this months ago, but didn’t because Oliver’s frat boy humor seemed a bit too much at the end. But it’s too good not to share.

Not being American, I can’t follow some of the nuances and I wonder how Americans follow his so typically English accent!

as i love our own jon stewart who just retired from his show.
wonder if any teeny tiny politicians with great authority ever give a listen.
    they might learn something.

I do like John Oliver, he nails the ills of modern society so very well. The discrepancy between rich and poor has never been so vast.

      Oliver certainly nailed this one.

The discrepancy between the rich and the poor will only get worse unless we improve our educational system. What a mess that is!
