And Our Police Think They Have Problems

An article in PerthNow, Scarborough Police search for nine men who took motorised picnic tables for a joy ride, says

Life’s a picnic according to these nine blokes who motorised two park benches for an ocean drive through Scarborough on Sunday.

The local police weren’t nearly so happy.

The people using these vehicles could face a number of charges including driving an unlicensed vehicle, driving an unroadworthy vehicle and drink driving.
–Scarborough police spokesman

Yes, this activity could be dangerous and the police should probably stop it, but somehow this problem seems refreshingly innocent given all the problems in the world today.
