Being Grateful

So much for being thankful!

I try to be thankful every day, so Thanksgiving Day isn’t special for us, but still:

Whether or not you celebrate Thanksgiving, did you have a good day? Andy spent his checking out his new circuit, and I spent most of mine looking for some software that could replace Adobe Photoshop and Bridge when my version no longer works. (Adobe has moved to Cloud Computing, so sooner or later we will need to find another program. I don’t need it now, but I like to have contingency plans.) Not my favorite way of spending a day, but it was encouraging and I’m glad I did it.

  1. Like you, I also try to remember to be thankful and grateful every day — It helps to make me feel better when I think life’s against me! 🙂 Our day was a pretty nice one, and quiet for us as well, and I hope yours ends on a good note!

Good luck with the software search!

    LOL!
somehow it’s comforting to think the st bernard might go back with a cigar and settle in with the lost skier.
my days seem to be filled with the best brandy and cigars too.
i spent a quiet day here in the wren house just watching the rain.
the marine called and will be delayed a bit so hopefully he’ll miss driving in the icy conditions.
still raining today and i have the corners lighted.
    contingency plans are good!

I had a great day. Accomplished two difficult tasks and I am thankful to Ranjan who drove me around.

yesterday was basically relaxing, the 2 major art works were packed ready for delivery on Monday. I started playing around with a project for my Diploma but this morning when I re-looked at what I thought I might do [all carefully written down] decided it’s not what I want to achieve – back to the drawing board!

today, well that has been interesting especially around 2pm – will write on that in my blog soon – I will need to get a picture so you can see what “happened” 🙂

I actually didn’t have to work!
    so life was good.
Sadly I felt sick and dizzy all day
but luckily I didn’t have to work!
    So I was Grateful!
I had to work yesterday and it was absolutely CRAZY
    but oh well!
I have some exciting news (well, maybe just to me it’s exciting)
but I will leave it as a teaser and share later.
My family plans on celebrating later tonight for Thanksgiving since my sister had to work that day. (and this morning)
anyway, I have much to be thankful for, and as you, I try to be that daily.
    XOXO
