Snowing and Blowing

It was cold (high in the low 20’s F) and mostly overcast down here yesterday, and Andy was no longer above the clouds up on the land. He said it was a real blizzard up there, so he spent about 2 1/2 hours plowing. It was 15°F and snowing and blowing when he got up there, and 16°F and snowing and blowing when he left. That was quite a difference from his sunshine Sunday!

My hats off to him. He keeps at it despite adverse weather conditions.

  2. Brrr! Stay warm and safe during this cold weather. Take comfort in the fact that many people across the world envy your snow experience, especially as Christmas approaches!

Oh! that worries me, as I’m sure it must you.
Andy working out in those conditions…
Could he wait and see if tomorrow is calmer?

It’s sunny again today — at least down here. Not much point in worrying about him, he’s going to do what he’s going to do. The main thing is he’s happy. I do keep my fingers crossed!

I thought I answered this earlier. I did it mentally, but that doesn’t count! I agree, 2000+ miles is a LONG trip! I’m so glad you had a chance to see the boys again and had a good time.

And, meanwhile, we’re still collecting tomatoes . . . at least the ones the golden retriever hasn’t pulled off. He eats the ripe ones, tosses the green ones.

    • Jean says:

We tried tomatoes outside years ago. One or two ripened, as I recall, and we have pictures of Kaitlin and I wearing our arctic parkas, harvesting the green ones. We built a greenhouse.

I can just picture your golden happily harvesting. 🙂
