Cold and Sunny

The low was less than 10°F on our porch last night, but with the sunshine it got to slightly above freezing today. The Southwestern sun does make a difference!

Presumably it was sunny up at the house too, so Andy could pump heat into the floor using his solar heating system. After so many cold, cloudy days, it can use it!

We too are having cold but sunny days with difference of 20 deg C between high of 30 and low of 10. Inside the homes because sun does not get in one finds even daytime temperatures cold while outside it is warm and comfortable.

That’s always interesting. It’s somewhat like temperature inversions, when it’s colder down here than up in the mountains.

mixed weather here, today very hot and sunny – don’t ask temps don’t know…tomorrow may be wet but I’m going into the city anyway – want to look at something in a Uni library…
