Assuming that the ship shown is a frisbee, I don’t understand the joke.
Alien ships often look like frisbees, so the humans are playing with it.

When I watch Frisbees flying through the air, I can see the resemblance to UFOs: airborne objects that, on inspection, turn out to be something ordinary rather than the alien spaceships the person reporting was hoping for.
We’re off to England today for a walking tour in the Cotswolds and Cornwall. Wonder how many Brexit riots we’ll encounter?
