The quality of our lives depends on how we focus our energy and our attention.

What’s the best use of your time?

i’m always laughing and have to change gears to think seriously about your question. πŸ˜€
    great cartoons.
oddly enough I don’t think about the ‘best’ use of my time very much.
I think if I did nothing but sit and watch tv all day that I would think that wasn’t the best use of my time probably. but then if it were interesting documentaries on something I was interested in… it wouldn’t be! so I guess it’s all relevant.
i’m just in love with life.
oh! I know what’s never the best use of my time… going shopping for anything other than groceries. i’m just not a shopper. you know… where people go and wander around from store to store at a snail’s pace… AAAGGH! for me that would be a major waste of my time.

I can see why you feel that way about shopping. For me the biggest waste of time would be agonizing over things that I have no control over. The world is an infinite sink of them!

Unfortunately I was just reading up on the differences between Coordinated Universal Time (UTC), GPS Time, and Barycentric Coordinate Time. Now I am all flustered so that I am not sure what people are talking about when they speak of “time”. But since you qualified this as “your time”, I now must determine which “time” I want to be associated with me, which really wasn’t a question that I had to face until just now.

YOU know what the best use of my time is…
    it’s creating something.
    yep….

    Biggest waste?
    worrying.

“what’s the best use of my time” – interesting observation and question…

as I move toward the removal people/truck coming next weekend, I am mindful of keeping my own fragile (at times) health in check. So to make sure, I took a big spoonful of time out, I decided to get to the library and get some soppy novels out – I get 2 at a time, because one is always dreadful. I get stuck in if they are good, and forget about what “box is waiting for something more in it, or the cleaning rags, or the vacuum cleaner…”

normally I would race to my paints but they are all packed up as is the easel and various other supplies…as is all the kitchen baking supplies.

those things are going to be back on the agenda, hopefully by beginning of October but I’m not worried about “that time frame”
