Well, Yeah

Well, yeah. Pups are a lot more fun than fancy footwear.

Still…Tempi hasn’t told us what her granduncle thought about her chewing on his shoes.

Chutki was rescued after a hit and run accident in which she had lost some teeth as well as fractured both her hind legs. Because she has lost some teeth, she is / was not interested at all in chewing anything. Lucky us.

  2. Love cartoons like this! The artist is a master of human and animal expression!

one of bob’s cousins stayed with us for about 6 months while he was getting a divorce. he had stored a bunch of boxes in our garage.
I had a puppy at the time. and a doggy door from the garage to the back yard when I had to leave the house for short times away.
the cousin was a golf pro and had just moved to our house from palm springs.
one morning I was sitting at the kitchen table and saw bright colors all over our green lawn.
upon closer inspection… they were the cousin’s CASHMERE golf sweaters.
and of course one pair of very expensive golf shoes. with the heel back neatly chewed out by a tiny set of very sharp puppy teeth.
the puppy had definitely had a deliriously happy and busy morning chewing first class inventory! instead of taking ONE sweater he chewed a little on many.
    I was mortified.
bob offered to pay for all of it but since we weren’t charging the cousin any rent or for even for food … he called it even! 🙂

LOL Tammy…nothing is exempt it seems 🙂

When I had cats…they bought home some interesting things including a nicely chewed but still wrapped steak! Never found out where they got it…but felt real sorry for my neighbours.

I usually defrosted meat in the cold oven with the door firmly shut!

    Oh no!
and even old dogs are puppies when it comes to eating what they shouldn’t!
My little terrier mix “Ricochet” is forever eating holes into things!
She ate a hole in the middle of my quilt!
and she destroys stuffed animals and chews them into pieces.
I’m forever picking up their limbs but sadly no more stuffed animals for her
because Blue just pooped out one of the stuffed animal pieces!!!!!
I don’t know what I’m going to do with that guy.
Thank god he has big intestines and such!
    Ugh!
