Getting Shorter

Sorry, Earl. Giving up suspenders isn’t going to help. Neither Andy nor I wear them, and we’re shrinking too.

Sigh….

  1. I used to be 6 ft tall, and I wonder if I’ve shrunk to 5’12…. πŸ™‚

Are we going to make it to Tuesday??

    • Jean says:

πŸ˜€ Yes, we will make it to Tuesday, but it won’t be over. I’m afraid the mess will go on and on. We haven’t seen anything yet.

  2. Rummuser says:

Far from shrinking, I seem to be growing around the middle!

  3. Linda Sand says:

I’m a half inch shorter than I used to be but way more than a 1/2″ rounder. My husband is back wearing the same size pants he wore as a teenage. He only went up one size in all these years and he’s lost that. Not fair!

  4. Cathy in NZ says:

I don’t know where I am in the measurement stakes – and I really don’t care πŸ™‚ but I know I don’t wear “suspenders” so I won’t be able to quote Earl!

  5. tammy j says:

I have shrunk a whole INCH! and I couldn’t really afford that.
my great grandmother on my dad’s side literally reminded me of mammy yokum! LOL!
I hope I’m not headed THAT way!!! but I don’t smoke a pipe. and my hair is short. so maybe I’m safe.
wonder why we can’t ever shrink around the middle? πŸ˜€

  6. Cindi says:

Because of this post I just measured myself.
I think it’s right but it’s kinda hard to measure yourself precisely
    but now I’m bummed.
    I might be only 5’7 1/4″ tall
    and I used to be 5’7 3/4″!!!!
    I need to get stretching

  7. I know I’m getting shorter, don’t need to measure to know that! Too bad I can’t wear heels these daysβ€”they always used to make me feel taller.

    • Jean says:

I seldom wore heels when I was younger, so there’s no chance of me wearing them now. It is what it is, but it does take some getting used to. πŸ™‚
