Hygge

Torben took this picture of Tempi and Sammy watching the fire in the wood burning stove Sunday evening. They wrote a post about it and the Danish concept of hygge at Montana Moments.

it definitely fits with the “simple life” one of creating the home with the best objects that fit in with your individualistic life – as I said on the Montana’s blog – has many paralells to Tammy’s minimalism – even if she doesn’t (neither do I have) a similar fire box…

Andy doesn’t use the wood stove much because of the solar heating panels on the roof. They work fine when the sun comes out, but that’s not always true in winter. The stove actually puts out too much heat for the room, but it’s the smallest one we could find.

  4. Sweet times in front of the fire. Happy New Year, Jean!
