Mud Season

The snow is starting to melt up in the mountains.

That means the roads are slippery and easily torn up by driving over them.

It also doesn’t do much for the Jeep.

They’re predicting more precipitation, so it may stay muddy for a while.

I know some daredevils here who would treat that as an opportunity for some fancy four wheel drive adventures!

I remember years ago when we went on a long muddy road. It was an adventure even without being daredevils. More fun than an amusement park.

  2. The mud-season is the one I like the least! But it makes your jeep look like its been on an adventure! 🙂

what do the neighbours think when they see him getting out of such a muddy vehicle – they probably roll their eyes and think what a “stupid big kid” he is – and “at this age!!!!”

wish I was a dare devil at times :-)

I don’t think it occurred to either of us to wonder what our neighbors down here think. Some of the neighbors up there appreciate his efforts clearing the trees off the road, plowing, and keeping one of the roads from eroding away. Others probably just take him for granted and could be in for a surprise when he can no longer do it.
