Preparing for Winter

The fellows installing the supports for the solar heating panels weren’t up there today, and they probably won’t come back until next Wednesday. They have scheduling conflicts — one of them being this is the hunting season. So Andy has started building his woodpile for the winter.

With all that he does, whether he chops wood or not, he should be in good shape!

He’s got a nice pile of wood I see. Tell him to go barefoot & wear his down jacket. He’ll get warm from the feet up, with his solar heated floor. 🙂

He’s not a barefoot kind of guy. And the solar-heated floors may not be ready for this winter. He sometimes wears his down sweater down here, but he likes it toasty warm up there. Hence the woodpile.
