Radiant Heating

As you know, we’re spending a lot of time and money installing radiant heating in the floors of the cottage. We’re not the only ones who think it’s a great idea — the hu-dad and the six Siberians at the Thundering Herd love it too.

The Thundering Herd

Cheoah enjoying the warmth.

They show good taste.

If I were there, I would show good taste too by collapsing on the floor like that!

Barefoot in the winter is nice but wool socks work too.

    gorgeous!
before we left minnesota they were building the huge mall there . . . what is it? called the mall of america. they were to start it i think the year after we moved.
it seems to me they were also talking about heating sidewalks!!! ???? i don’t know if that ever happened. i rather doubt it. talk about an unlimited budget!!!
but then look how long ago that was. i was a mere teenager! LOL.
and now i’m old with a sketchy memory. LOL.

I looked up the Mall of America. They didn’t say anything about heated sidewalks, but they built it with a lot of thermal mass, so the heat of the lights and people during the day is enough to keep it warm. they need air conditioning in the summer, though. Isn’t Google great?
