I’m Not the Only One

I’m not the only one who likes trampolines.

I cheerfully admit, I’m not that energetic!

No, most decidedly not my cup of tea. My hip joints may just dislocate!

North Platte, Nebraska (April 1967) — It’s snowing outside while I’m in Phys Ed class, heavy wet snow for Nebraska. I take my turn on the trampoline….. bounce…. bounce…. bounce. Higher and higher, cuz that’s all ever could really do…. bounce — and the lights go out!!!

That’s the only time I remember losing power in Nebraska and also the only time I remember school closed early due to weather. We had 9 inches of heavy late season snow…. and there were no school buses for kids that lived in town. Fortunately, our house was only four blocks away.

I had just turned 15 and would soon be moving to Texas.

(I think I’m going to turn this into a blog post at Exit78.com) 😉

Me t00. I like trampolines. I copied Jean & got a little one. I read that it’s the best exercise for the joints.

Kendall, Marie & Lydia each have the big kind with a mesh screen on the edge. My first view of Lydia’s was when Alina was standing still on it & suddenly flipped heels over head & was standing again!

I have enough trouble with my balance as it is…

But I think they could be fun, I love the ones where the dog was “jumping” on the shadow and then seemed to be annoyed he wasn’t subduing it 🙂

Christmas Day evening unfolding – will reveal “toy shop” present real soon…it’s cute-as and has a use 🙂

The one I bought for the land has a handle bar you can hang on to. Apparently other people have trouble with balance too.

You have definitely aroused my curiosity about your present!
