We need thousands like him spreading the word.

I love Dale Hansen. I hope that most people feel like I do, that gays are wonderful. The men that were gay when I grew up, we didn’t know that at the time, were nicer than ALL the other guys.

They’re individuals too — no need to make them all saints. It turns out some of the fellows I was at Stanford-in-Germany with were gay. I learned that years later but didn’t have a clue at the time. I don’t remember them as being any different from the other guys, but it could be I’m just clueless in general.

    what do i think?
i wanted to stand up and cheer him on!
i am so sick to death of the extreme macho idiot culture that ‘can do no wrong.’
but he forgot to mention the most despicable of all.
michael vick. i can hardly bring myself to speak his name. he came back playing after only a VERY short stint in jail. he’s still making millions and lauded for his ‘career.’
and he tortured and maimed and killed helpless innocent dogs by the dozens.
for money. everybody just turned a blind eye to that evil. not me. NOT me.
    oh god.
give me all the wonderful gay sensitive men you’ve got.
to me… it’s like they have blue eyes or brown eyes. i do not think it’s a choice. i think it’s a matter of chromosomes. and to be ridiculed and bullied because of it …
well… you go dale. you go. we need more like you and your own courageous stand.

    no comment!

other than it’s the 21st century…and being ‘gay’ is not a new stance…

    I agree entirely.

In Australia Gay Lib has gone ahead by leaps and bounds in the last couple of decades or so. Still a long way to go but it is night and day compared to when I was growing up. We have made lots of progress on this at least.
