April Fools

Dogs don’t understand magic, so the disappearing treat was a dirty trick to play on them. But we assume they were rewarded at the end.

The dogs were very well behaved. Kaitlin’s gerbil would have nipped your hand if you played a trick like that.

i’m with salli. a verbal protest.
there is such intelligence in their faces. looking at the camera. they KNOW it was there. and they’re being laughed at and made a fool of.
some people are just not funny or even entertaining.
i didn’t find that funny at all. but then i seldom like that kind of magic or magicians.
    or clowns for that matter!
just stupid. and like rummy says… cruel.
    not nice at all.

The interesting thing is someone from the local Friends of the Shelter sent it. I thought it was funny, but I wished more of the dogs barked, telling the fellow to stick it in his ear.

The dogs were clearly well cared for, so I don’t think they suffered very much. I assume they received plenty of treats and pets from their owners afterwards.
