  3. In the olden days, my father once sealed a leaking radiator (in his Model A car) with chewing gum. It worked!

I remember fixing something in one of our cars, with a ring-pull thingymebob from a can…it got us home from somewhere miles away from home. Our car mechanic said it was a good “fix”

  5. Linda P. says:

A couple of weeks ago, my daughter picked up her car after it had been repaired, only to discovered that a whole pack of a special gum she likes had been chewed. On Facebook, her friends teased her that her car had been repaired using chewing gum. Who knows? Maybe they were right?

Wonderful story about the Tootsie Rolls.
