Contractors

Adrian Raeside scored on this one. I burst out laughing as it brought back a flood of memories.

Have you had much experience with contractors? In fairness to them, they do have serious scheduling problems at times, but it would be nice if they could warn their clients when they won’t show up as promised.

Me too, I laughed. Reminds me of what we call “island time”, when Tuesday at 11 a.m. is only a loose definition of an expected day and time. It will happen or it won’t.

yep, my landlord suffers from that complaint…I don’t know when she said “we must get in someone to cut some trees and the noxious trees that have growing for years…” still waiting (so on a particularly windy night with these weedy other trees (not the noxious) hitting the house – I did some sawing down! Not pretty but I don’t actually care

oh and there is still the issue of the “windows”…must send her another email!

I could not help laughing having just seen the last of the contractors who did the remodeling of our kitchen. The work started in February! There is still a tiny bit left to be done which hopefully will be done next week.
