I don’t care what I see in the mirror. I’m hardly a perfect physical specimen of humanity but that’s not important to me. As long as I’m fit enough to enjoy my simple pleasures, I’m content.
I can relate, as well, but the mirror is just as honest as the scale. 2016 wasn’t good for me from the weight perspective. Already weighing quite a bit more than I should, somehow I added another 20 lbs after going many, many years at a stable weight. π
Looks like the gym will be full to bursting with newly motivated weight-busters! Never fearβit’s always this way after the holidays! But I like Nick’s outlook…stay healthy and the rest will follow!

Wishing you a happy and inspiring 2017!
I’m with you, as long as my body is healthy I’m not going to criticize it. π

That’s a big change after being so stable. It sounds like a big nuisance.
Mine is a permanent battle with my bulge too. But I don’t let that stop me from having a ball anyway!
Happy new year to you too Monk.
Yes, having a ball is the main thing!

Yes, the local Y does get crowded for a couple of weeks. Last Friday my Silver Sneakers class was full for the first time in months.
Yep, totally how I feel but
I’m gonna change that!

Good luck! Let us know how it turns out. The main thing is to be happy either way.
LOLOL!
ditto.
now’s apparently the time to own stock in gyms and exercise equipment! π
The fad usually doesn’t last very long. π
I rarely look in mirrors. I’m trying to stop shaming myself for being me.
I never used to look in mirrors, now I do every morning because it starts the day with a good laugh. π
I like it! And I agree. Happy New Year!
Happy New Year to you and yours too! I love the video of poor R singing. Poor fellow, he’s had his share of bad luck. He’s so precious.
same as the weighing scale – I actually don’t have it in sight at this new, place because I don’t have any real spare space in my new bathroom…
anyway Belated Happy New Year
I hope you had a great New Year, too. Here it was a regular day because we like our everyday life.
