Spring Is Coming!

Andy took the chains and snow plow off the truck Wednesday. He is still draining the hoses after he waters the trees and plants because it still might freeze at night. But even that shouldn’t last for too much longer.

We will be whining about the heat in no time!

  1. I guess everyone has something to whine about! I’m complaining about the cold, gloomy weather, here on the Pacific north coast. We’ve had one warm day since the end of October. This is an unusual turn of events, and some of us (me) are quite glum about it! So glad Andy was able to free the truckā€”it looks better without the chains and snowplow!

We lived in Ithaca, NY for 8 1/2 years, and the winter you describe was the normal for us there. We don’t miss it! It lasted from the end of October to almost the end of May. Then it got hot and sticky.

I hate to rub salt into wounds above…
but we are having a glorious spring!
I suppose to make up for absolutely NO MORE autumns!
we’re headed into our tornado season now… so perhaps I shouldn’t brag to loudly!

We are also having a glorious spring here in Minnesota. I’m soaking it in as fast as I can because we all know summer heat is coming.

well it’s a x-between spring, autumn and a touch of winter here…although we have had some very nice sunny late summer days. I am now considering winterising the house, and I’ve learnt the landlord will insulate – hopefully sooner rather than later… I’ve got my oil heaters out and have been using them, so chill off the rooms…

getting some new2me curtaining soon (maybe this week) from a pal who wanted new colours in her rooms…and although AM meant well on the rail problem in the bedroom it does need to be replaced – it too short and cannot be extended (DC and I tried that…)
