It Doesn’t Have to Be Perfect to Be Lovable

This is Tempi sleeping on her bed at Torben’s parents’ place. She has outgrown it physically, but when we jokingly offered to buy her a bigger one, Kaitlin wrote,

She loves that bed. As small as it is… she drags it to where we are sleeping! And then sleeps on the floor…

Things don’t have to be perfect to be lovable.

Comfort zones are rarely, if ever, perfect!

    Love this.

Reminds me of a photo I have of Blue
where he folded himself up as much as he could
and curled on top of one of the little ones beds.

it’s like other animals who try to squeeze into something like a cereal box or similar. Even those animals who get stuck trying to get through the cat door…

I’ve got some clothing items, that I wouldn’t be seen dead in (as the outer layer) but I love wearing them. Got caught out once a few years ago when I got very hot (early summer) and that certain item wasn’t the bottom layer!!!

having to explain to a relative why I had it on…and couldn’t go down another layer, because I had another “mustn’t be seen in” layer below.

More recently I slept on something that isn’t “the bed” and I actually loved the bean bags – after I got them arranged better…

Apparently cats really like the closeness of boxes. One reason is they like it warmer than humans do, and it’s easier to stay warm in a smaller place.
