LOL…who indeed cares, especially when I’m in my wo[man] cave – it seems Isobel cares. A knock on my door and there she is in her full size pinny bearing a bowl of hot food…except it is now cooling on my bench, because I ate dinner a bit earlier [read: blasted clocks forward, makes everything time-odd…]
Isobel is “torn” right now, she is expected to leave the boys (actually they aren’t boy, young men…) – and return to Philippines to help her husband… and as we chatted this evening, she didn’t know when she will be back…I will miss her, even though we are “yards apart” in life-style…

We don’t switch from Daylight Savings Time until the Sunday after Halloween, so the kids don’t have to trick or treat in the dark.

I imagine you will miss your neighbor. She sounds like a good one.

wonder who thought up the phrase ‘man cave.’
probably the same ones who thought up the phrase ‘baby bump.’
    i’m with the dog.

Suddenly I am feeling guilty about my recliner!

  4. I don’t know when the term, “man cave” became a universal concept, but suddenly everyone knows about it! And almost every guy has oneβ€”some more modest than others!

    A great laugh. Thanks!

I think it better known in NZ as the “blokes shed” – and that shed just like the man cave can be anything from a tiny weeny space to something akin to a huge warehouse with their favourite toys…(I had written toddys’, which is probably what I was thinking, i.e. beer fridge and fully set up bar…for mates)
