Technically Speaking

When we were packing up to leave yesterday afternoon, Tempi was in the mood to play. So she was delighted when the wind blew my hat off — she grabbed it and ran to the other side of the house. I ran after her, and when I turned the corner she was watching for me. As soon as she saw me she started shaking the hat vigorously. I told her to drop it, and she did. She dropped it on the ground, put her foot on it to hold it, and tore out a chunk and swallowed it.

Technically speaking she did as I had asked.

during the summer time those gaps will be a blessing, because if you need to use it as a fan (your face) when you’ve out walking the holes will help with circulation 🙂

or you could create the whole hat into a pot plant holder…a real talking point for sure.

LOL! both comments spoken like a true artistic optimist! 😀

Yes, spoken like an artist. I’m afraid I tossed it the garbage and got out one of my spares. 😀

    • Cathy in NZ says:

oh no….on the tossing to garbage – but suppose it will be food for worms at the dump (or whatever you call those places over there).

I probably would have cut it up into pieces and used somehow…like I just cut up the old kodak negatives and compressed with heat between some cellophane – they look interesting now, and probably will be recut into either leaves or flower petal 🙂

    and OMYGOSH monk!!!
I know she’s a bad puppy. but I tell you. she just cracks me up!
I might as well be humpty dumpty.
and really she just has a good and happy and playful heart that’s all.
and we know she appreciates the esthetics of a mountain view. LOLOL.
I hope the part she ate didn’t cause her any problems. seriously.
you’re wonderful in your attitude. but then you’re the cheerful monk!

She has eaten worse things than that. And she is very smart and very entertaining. She keeps Kaitlin and Torben on their toes, and Andy and me too when she visits. 😀

And she knew you had a spare hat…so she was helping with decluttering, one less hat in the house 🙂 who knew a happy dog could be so useful!

Very obedient. Did you give her a treat?
