Car Trips

Tempi and Zoe love car trips, especially Zoe. When Kaitlin, Torben and the pups were staying up at the house, Zoe would jump in the car every time Andy and I came up and started to unload our things.

Kaitlin was glad of that habit yesterday evening. She and Torben had a party and some of the guests left the door open when they left, so Zoe got out. All Kaitlin had to do was get in the car and drive out of the driveway — Zoe cheerfully came running up. She’s a great addition to their family.

  2. Interesting way to find the dog! I had a chuckle over that.

  3. agree a great way to “call a dog, when a dog has the rules (similar)”

They do need to teach her to come when called. As Kaitlin points out, the car trick won’t work when they go for walks in the mountains.

Apparently Zoe was running back and forth across the street and the party guests were trying to grab her — they also stopped a car to make sure it didn’t hit Zoe. But as soon as Zoe saw Kaitlin’s car she happily came running. One guest said he didn’t understand how Zoe could have heard the car with all the commotion. It would have made a great video. πŸ˜€
