The tomato plant that Andy planted in the greenhouse actually produced one fruit. It was about two inches in diameter, and it was delicious. He may try two plants next year.
It’s been a fairly cool summer, so we were pleasantly surprised that the tomato ripened on the vine. The greenhouse doesn’t have a roof, and the door was damaged by the fire so Andy has propped it open. He’s hoping to get it fixed next year — it’s on his long To-Do list.
Any pleasant surprises for you lately? Do you have a long To-Do list?
My To-List is in my head, but I’m doing quite well with the current “big sift/sort – move on” stuff!
As to how to decide on the objects, that was hard but now I’ve made a decision, on what stays or goes – to where it goes and for why. It has got easier.
My “To-List” is on paper; I get a big thrill when I get to mark something off. It’s L O N G. 😀
Cathy,
Yes, it’s the darned decisions that are so hard. Good for you! I need to do a lot of decluttering too. I’m trying to get into the mood.
bikehikebabe,
I don’t like To-Do lists — they feel oppressive. So I call mine Possibility Lists. I only write them down if the list feels too long. Then I agree, it’s fun crossing things off. Might as well get as much enjoyment as we can.
Courtesy the internet, my siblings and I reunited with family friends from our childhood. We have been exchanging mails and there is so much of love and nostalgia that it is simply mindblowing.
No, since there is little that I am expected to accomplish other my routine, I don’t make to-do lists at all.
The internet is great!
Pleasant surprise – finding a rental that suited us down to the ground.
Lists I leave to my partner – she is excellent at them.
Congratulations!
