It was sunny and warm Monday, but not quite so nice yesterday:
Joe and his crew didn’t come up either day — we’re not expecting them again until the machine shop finishes the frames for the solar heating panels. And we still don’t know when that will be.
Peter continues to work on the plumbing:
Andy is still hopeful the project will be finished this year.
Brrrrrrrrrr Doesn’t look sunny & warm. Pictures don’t always say the right 1,000 words.
Monday was sunny and warm. The pictures were taken Tuesday, not quite so nice. I agree, brrrr…..
no snow here 🙂
But some short but really too much storms of the wet kind.
One day, I decided I need to do something, it was drizzly but not too bad (thought it would turn nice) – but around midday a dramatic change. I was on the Inner link bus (circular sort) and down it came, the road was soon awash and it was hard to tell where the kerbs were. I decided to stay on the bus and got off later on. Then later on the Outer link (wider circle) got off at Pt Chevalier (Pt Chev) and it was bucketing down again.
The traffic signals were affected but some nice drivers let a few off cross on the “walk” when I got back to New Lynn transport centre – more rain, but chose to sit and wait – watching people dashing through the rain 🙂
Then if that wasn’t enough, a sub station blew up in the evening and 10,000 of us had no power from around 7 – midnight!
Wow! That was some day — a nice one to stay warm and cozy inside!
