The weather has been so nice that Andy decided to have the final four panels mounted earlier than planned. (For more and higher resolution pictures click here.)
We were hoping that this would be the last trip for Joe’s crew, but unfortunately they still didn’t have our storm door or the caulking for the roof. They’ll have to come back again sometime, but at least they finished the hardest part. We’re happy about that.

Well that that’s completed – and it looks pretty darn classy – even if not completely done…
It’s hard to even see it’s winter time there, the sky is so blue and the ground looks so dry….
We’re having unusually warm weather right now, but a new storm may be on its way. Andy figured he should take advantage of the nice weather while it was here.
And I see that there’s brush to be burned but dare not with the dry land now. Andy can stack it to burn when there’s snow on the ground.
Good for you. You may still get enough heat without having to chop more wood!
It won’t be this winter. Even if Peter’s shoulder heals soon and he finishes his part, Andy still will have to do the electronics that controls the radiant heat. We learned long ago not to be in a rush.
The main thing is he can use more propane if his back goes out and he runs out of wood. At our age we need contingency plans!
YAYYYY! at least they’re all up! progress. slowly but surely.
i’m learning that from you and andy. xo
It does look a lot nicer.
That’s a nice change
We agree!
