We’ve been enjoying all the sunny days this winter, and Andy has had no problem driving up to the land. Needless to say, there is a lot less snow on the ground than usual.
There is even less snow on the ground now than when this last picture was taken, and there was an article in the paper yesterday about the danger of wildfires. One thing about the weather, it’s interesting even when nothing much is happening.

ours is the same. warnings of wild fires. our winds often gusting to 40mph now.
and we’re back to severe dryness.
the winter sun is lovely. so glad andy is getting to ENJOY some of his hard efforts in getting his cabin habitable!
I love winter sun! Summer sun tends to wash things out. Winter sun makes them come alive. And I’m so glad for Andy, too.
Yes, everything about life is interesting if you’re observant.
Amen to that! That’s why I love blogging — it makes us more observant instead of taking life for granted. Years ago I used to write in my journal every day for the same reason.
Talking about the weather reminds me of an observation someone made the other day:
Super Bowl on Groundhogs Day in an open stadium during a cold winter in New Jersey — what could go wrong?
Not that I’m suggesting anything will. I’m not a great sports fan, just thought this was interesting.
It will be interesting to see what the weather is like. As I recall, in the old days teams (I’m thinking Michigan and Ohio State) would play during snow storms if need be.
weather here about normal for this time of the year, maybe less humidity
but in Australia a totally different kettle of fish, a relative of mine who lives in Perth West Australia has seen temps into the 46C – far too hot…
I agree, 46 C is way too hot!
