We’re looking at the possibility of one drop of rain before the end of the month. Maybe.

Yesterday’s title at Bob and Sophie’s French Adventure was the quote
Anyone who says sunshine brings happiness has never danced in the rain.
As I said, we’re enjoying the sunshine, but we would also enjoy dancing in the rain.

There’s nothing more enjoyable that sweating like a pig 😀 on a hike & it rains. You cool off & want to dance! (note: Pigs have no sweat glands. They waddle in pools of water–or mud–to cool off.)
Dogs don’t have many sweat glands either — the ones they have are in their paw pads, and they’re not very efficient for cooling the dogs off. So dogs pant and cool the air they breathe by having it go over their moist tongues — that’s why it’s so important to give them all the water they need.
it always infuriates me to see a jogger running with a black dog… or ANY dog in the hottest part of the summer.
the jogger of course has the bare minimum in clothing. often just shorts and sneakers.
the poor dog is closer to the pavement which is like an oven… and his tongue is hanging out and dragging to one side.
should be a LAW against that! stupid stupid people.
and you know that i dance in the rain! if it would only rain!
we’d even take the one drop at this point! LOL.
I agree about the dogs. And I hope you get some rain soon!
Can’t predict much in Auckland – and what often looks like black clouds for rain isn’t or it rains for 2 mins and then the humidity rears it”s angry head! Today a light breeze, not cold of course – lots of sun…
Coming up to my kids holiday cricket matches where I’m sure to get an overdose of sun…quietly sneaking a lot of red stuff on my skin, where I least expect it…
I can imagine how hard it is to predict there. My skin is very sensitive to the sun, so I usually bundle up when I go outside for very long. It’s a nuisance!
I enjoyed warmer but quite comfortable weather down South and returned to a cold day at home and as I write this, am having to wear warm clothes!
