It was cloudy Monday morning, so we didn’t think we had a chance of seeing the total lunar eclipse. But then it cleared off in the afternoon, and we had a great view from our porch in the wee hours of Tuesday morning. I was playing in here and went out every half hour or so, and Andy got up to see it in its prime, with the reddish copper glow.
It reminded us of an eclipse when Kaitlin was young. We spent the night on the land and watched the event from the comfort of our sleeping bags. Neat stuff.

It was not visible here!
See http://www.timeanddate.com/eclipse/in/india/pune As far as I can tell you have a chance of seeing part of the October one.
it was too cloudy here.
darn!
but… that’s okay. it’s maybe going to rain tomorrow. keep fingers crossed!!!
I would rather have the rain than see the eclipse. We assumed it would be too overcast here but were pleasantly surprised.
I was planning not to get up for the eclipse, since I am still fighting hard to find my equilibrium with all these migraines. But then, we accidentally woke up at the right time. I went out on the porch in my jammies, and stood out there for about a half hour in the 20° air. It was gorgeous but I was FROZEN!!!!!
I love celestial events like this one. We even plan whole vacations around the rarer solar eclipses.
Yes, that’s cold unless you bundle up and move around! But it was nice for the eclipse to come to us.
We missed it due to it being heavily overcast
As I said, we were surprised our clouds lifted.
