Yesterday Andy ran the cables from the thermometers in the solar panels down to the house so he can read the temperatures there. (The temperatures will tell him when the panels are warm enough to heat water.)
The first step is to run the cables through the conduits to the hole in the roof.
Running the cables from the east panels through the conduit.
The cables are now through the conduits and the holes in the roof.
Cables from west panels inside the house.
Cables from west panels inside the house before the insulation was replaced.
All in all a productive day.

I would have never been able to do ten percent of what Andy has been able to because I am clueless about this kind of technology. Give me an automobile and I can play!
Yes, this project is a good chance for Andy to exercise his talents. 🙂
OH! That’s what you do.
Getting the wires through the conduit was a bit tricky. Andy had to thread a wire puller/fish tape up through the conduit, hook it on the wires and pull them through. (The wires weren’t stiff enough to push through from the top.)
It’s nice to have tools!
It’s great that Andy has a project that will enthrall him forever…
