When the fellows were installing the solar panels last fall, they had to insert aluminum spacers between the bottom of the panels and the frames so Peter would have room to work on the plumbing.
This past week Andy secured the spacers to the frames with cap screws (threaded bolts).
It took a lot of pressure to tap (thread) the holes, and it was hard on his shoulder — he did only a few each day.
He had to stand on a ladder to do the work.
And needless to say, he firmly secured the ladder!
Just some of the details needed for the project.

I continue to be amazed at his persistence and tenacity.
Yes, he does well on long-term projects.
Paul was standing with bare feet on an unsecured ladder, holding a glass windowpane WHEN THE LADDER STARTED SLIDING to the side. He was able to grab the house & pull the ladder upright without dropping the window pane, which could have cut off his bare toes.
Ahhhhhhh! It’s a wonder that our children survive their mishaps.
P.S. This was a 2nd story window.
I’m impressed!
