Andy is sure those volunteers that sprouted from seeds are from the old transparent apple tree.
This is why.
Those old photos aren’t technically good, but to us they’re invaluable. Do you have any photos like that?

I have a good many photographs like that and indeed, they are quite valuable for documenting something, especially something like a plant, bush or tree which is in a dynamic state and always changing. Or even Andy’s plumbing project! 😀
Yes, we’ve been doing a good job of documenting. A lot has been going on!
Literally hundreds. My daughter in law has started to sort them out and categorise them and may even digitalise them eventually. I had such ideas some time ago but have given them up for more satisfying pursuits.
I don’t blame you, That’s an enormous job — better to let the youngsters do it.
I have lots and lots of photos like those! The memories that can be evoked by a photo are priceless…
Are they ever!
Past or present, having photos to compare really do help you to see things differently than your memory can remember — They’re invaluable. And now having digital cameras, on our phones etc., it takes it to a whole new level, doesn’t it?
We take a lot more pictures now. The trick is to label them well enough when we download them that we can find what we want later. It’s tedious sometimes, but well worth it.
yep.
I have many photos that when I look at them now,
although they may be fuzzy and faded
tell a story that I am only now truly seeing.
I don’t like looking at them really
because of the story they do tell
but I keep them anyway.
They are kinda like scars to me.
I look at them and while they are not pretty
they don’t let me forget.
