We hear a lot about how pets are good for our health, but this article shows that they can interfere with our reading. I’m wondering if Rummuser ever has this problem?

No, Rummuser does not have this problem. The pests that bother him when he is reading are usually the two legged variety with hand held mobile phone sets.
We don’t have that problem here — we have one mobile phone and we have trouble using it. On the rare occasions we do, it must be a riot to watch us trying to figure it out.
ohmygosh.
couldn’t get enough of these!
zeke used to come and just sit and stare at me. it meant WALK time! LOL.
or he would come to the side of my chair and just press his nose against my leg.
if i ignored it the press would become a little firmer. he never jumped up though or made a fuss. he was such a gentleman that zeke was. god i still miss him so bad.
and you know what? i have all the time in the world now to read books.
i ALWAYS got up and went for that walk. and now i’m SO GLAD i did! those walks with him are some of my best memories. our time with them is so fleeting.
That’s one reason I’m not completely sorry I don’t have a dog. I would never be able to resist those eyes and would always feel guilty. I’m too much of a pushover, so much so that it wouldn’t be good for the dog according to the Dog Whisperer.
I’m glad you took all of those walks with him while you could. 🙂
#7 reminds me of my Nora, my Border Collie.
She ever so slowly pushes her face with her ball in her mouth onto my lap.
🙂
And there’s always one of my cats trying to push their way in.
Very cute photos!
Pets are so precious. 🙂
