This fellow’s transmission won’t work in reverse, so rather than buy a new one he rigged up this contraption.
It’s ingenious, but I would hate to have to use it in an emergency!
Is this useless knowledge, or is a good laugh worth something?

Shall we be politically correct and just say that it is knowledge without adding an adjective to it?
I ditto that along with Mike’s comment.
LOLOL for tammy’s.
tammy, those are my favorite Capital letters. I’m pretending I don’t take you seriously. Ha! -Do you want a female U.S. President?
Rummuser,
Ah, if adding the term “useless” is non-PC, it’s because it might “exclude, marginalize, or offend” nerds, geeks, and scholars — people who enjoy learning for its own sake. So I’m allowed to use the term as a joke. I’m one of that minority, and minorities are always allowed to crack jokes about themselves.
Not totally useless. Someone, having seen this application, may be able to apply the principle in a different way some time in the future.
Agreed. Or maybe it will just encourage someone else to think outside the box.
thinking he would be banned on any city street!
but … like mike said… who knows what other uses or applications in future?
people are amazing.
and transmission work is SO expensive. ugh.
Yes, I can’t imagine him parallel parking! 🙂
all I can say it send it to the wreckers and get a push bike…
Unfortunately for him I’m afraid you’re right!
