There weren’t very many bees out yesterday, and Andy had to clear some trees off the road before he could get to the land.
Even though the sun didn’t come out, it was warm enough that the snow was starting to melt.
And the del Norte stream down in the valley was flowing.
Any little weather events where you were?
March 21, 2015
when i lived in colorado … at school we all gathered before classes in the auditorium.
there were probably announcements and such… i don’t remember that.
i DO remember everyone… the entire body always singing
‘when it’s springtime in the rockies’ before going to classes for the day.
something magical about that. a sense of pride and happiness and … i don’t know …
can you see that being done in a public school today?
it’s like spring here. next week it’s supposed to be in the 80’s. the 80’s! in april?
what will the summer be like?
we are starting to have two seasons here. winter and high summer.
and … beautiful pictures. even with the work of removing the trees. so beautiful!
Thank you for that! For some reason it warms my heart.
Your pictures are great! A picture speaks 1000 words.
still looks fairly cold to me!
It was definitely not a warm, sunny day!
We had snow on Friday, warm sun today that melted it. I’m just wishing for green grass now!
Andy says that some of the grass and clover he sowed the past few years are starting to come up already. He sowed some more in the hopes the new seeds would take advantage of the new moisture — around here that’s usually more scarce than sunshine is.
We have entered the hot season already. I was out for the weekend with a friend to his farm house but the children used the airconditioner for the first time last night and I intend using mine tonight. By mid June we will hit the monsoon and now everyone will start talking about how hotter this year is compared to last year!
Hurray for air conditioners!
Weather pretty stable down here.
I hope it’s pleasant.
