Andy added the Christmas tree to the lights and installed them on the roof. Yay, Andy! Especially for not falling off the roof and breaking your neck.
We went up to our regular spot tonight and the colors were slightly more visible to our aged eyes now, and they were spectacular looking through the binoculars. The main thing is the lights are visible from the road across the valley and one can see that some of them are colored.
We saw an owl and a rabbit up there, fortunately for the rabbit not at the same time. And we saw a small herd of elk driving back. They didn’t pose for the camera this time, but it was still fun to see them.

Great! Congratulations! So glad you got all the problems solved.
It will look very cheerful from the road down from Paso del Norte.
Good work!
I hope it lasts until after you get back!
Well done, and congratulations.
I will pass that on to Andy.
WONDERFUL!
and what a fun day.
any day seeing an owl a rabbit and elks… in fresh mountain air
as martha says… “it’s a good thing.”
XO
I agree!
YAY, it’s all done and the experimentation has paid off…now to watch those lights from time to time…
YAY for wildlife, essential in nature…
We’ll go for a few more night trips to see them.
ditto to what Tammy said!
LOL!
Sounds like it was indeed a good day!
