This cartoon reminds me of two books I recently listened to: The Almost Nearly Perfect People: Behind the Myth of the Scandinavian Utopia and The Year of Living Danishly: Uncovering the Secrets of the World’s Happiest Country.
Apparently Scandinavians rate high in happiness because they have low expectations of life and make the most of what they have. Sounds like smart advice.
